Measure, cut, and assemble framing lumber and sheathing. Follow layout drawings and ensure panels meet quality standards. Install blocking, insulation, and bracing as required. Use pneumatic tools, saws, and jigs safely. Maintain a clean, organized work area.
Lay out truss plates and lumber according to shop drawings. Operate gantry press and pneumatic tools to secure truss assemblies. Inspect joints for alignment and quality. Handle material staging and stacking for delivery.
Read and interpret shop drawings for joist layout.
Install TJI joists, blocking, hangers, and decking panels. Ensure square, level, and true assemblies for field install. Stage completed cassettes for shipping.
Assemble stringers, treads, risers, and landings per drawings. Ensure accuracy in rise/run dimensions. Sand, finish edges, and prep for shipping. Maintain templates and jigs for consistent output.
Input cutting lists from design files into saw system. Verify dimensions and quality of cuts.
Perform daily maintenance and blade changes. Bundle and label cut stock for each crew.
Move lumber and panels using forklifts and hand tools. Assist with staging, packaging, and loading finished goods. Clean and organize work areas. Fill in on assembly lines as needed.
